This following conclusion can be drawn from the research questions.
1. As for the Item 1 of research questions is “Do you think songs can develop your listening skill?” The data collection from options towards learning English by using English songs, this study found that 16 out of 30 students (approximately 53.3%) strongly agree with the statement that listening to songs and reading the lyrics is an easier way to learn English than studying a list of words. As for students’ responses, we can remember songs from the past, but we cannot remember word lists from the part.
2. As for the Item 2 of research question is “Do you think the implementation of songs is useful for student to develop listening skill?” (43.3%) of the subjects neither agreed nor disagreed with the statement indicating that they listened to songs at home. From these result we can assume that the students admitted to not listening to English music at home, but also to being exposed to and listening to English in other environments outside.
