Nowadays, there is a growing interest for the use of ethanol as
automotive fuel because it is produced from renewable sources.
Because alcohols are partially oxygenated, it produces less overall
pollution than fuels derived from petroleum, such as gasoline
and diesel [1,2]. In Brazil, alcohol fuel is produced typically fermenting
ethanol from sugarcane. Ethanol fuel is classified into
two types, namely anhydrous and hydrated. While the hydrated
ethanol has been used directly as a fuel, anhydrous ethanol is being
