WALT was displayed clearly on the white board with the lesson However, there was no evidence of thinking strategies being adopted. This was an introduction to LCM of number sets with no differentiation in the work students had. The text books were used for practice work. Q&A was voluntary with a limited amount of participation.
No extension work was made available for many of the students who found the work mundane and too easy.
Good use was made of the text books (2 of them) by each student – they write in the books.
Exercise books were well marked.
