In the quantitative data, I maintained participant anonymity and identified participants‘ responses as percentage measurements as they related to the survey question. In the qualitative data, I maintained survey participant anonymity and identified participants‘ quotes as S1.#, S2.#, S3.#, and S4.#. The pound sign (#) represents the number that SurveyMonkey (2010) assigned to a specific participant. To maintain interview participant anonymity, those interview quotes used as evidence in the findings were identified as I1 through to I5.
The focus group established recommendations and actions plans based on the themes and subthemes presented. To maintain focus group participant anonymity, those focus group quotes used as evidence in the findings were identified as F1 through to F5.
Study Findings
Study findings from this research project are based on a quantitative and qualitative survey and qualitative interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed first then the qualitative data were analyzed. Next, the quantitative and qualitative data from the survey and interviews were combined to form the focus group questions, which resulted in the overarching themes.
The online survey was designed to generate a significant amount of information in a way that the JFSC organization was accustomed to. This method mixed both quantitative and qualitative questions using aspects of AI and provided 22 of JFSC‘s staff an opportunity to respond to 25 quantitative and 4 qualitative questions (see Appendix H). Included in the 25 quantitative questions were 3 demographic questions that revealed the number of participants who entered and completed the survey, the number of participants from each team that entered the survey, and the number of participants familiar with the organizational goals (see Figures C1, C2, and C16 in Appendix C). Of the 16 participants who entered the survey, 15 participants completed the survey; one participant exited the survey after responding to the demographic
