Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I tried all three methods.
I have one creative technology program: soundblaster cinema. I tried reinstalling the driver as per your instruction, but the problem persists.
I tried the second method of the clean boot and restarted. The problem actually did not reoccur.
I tried the third option, but after the scan concluded, they found there was no problems.
I'm going to try uninstalling soundblaster and seeing what happens. Any more suggestions as to how to find out which third party program is causing this or how to be able to use the refresh/repair option again would be great.
Thanks!
