Winter Flower Garden unlike much of Thailand Betong enjoys a relatively moderate climate. by Thai standards it can even be considered "cool" or "cold" at times. This makes it an ideal place for planting and growing "cold place" flower an abundance of which can be seen-and smelled-at the winter flower garden.
A scenic drive roughly 25 kilometers from Betong brings visitors to the expansive grounds held by the command of Princess Sirinthorn, on which numerous brightly colored flowers bloom and a variety of plants intermingle. It’s easy to peruse the vibrant blossoms, and enjoy the only garden of its kind in southern Thailand, by strolling the well-maintained paths. Many of the red, pink and yellow roses are perfectly placed at nose level for easy sniffing. A short trail up a hill leads to a gazebo and a fantastic view of the garden below and the encasing mountains.
