Hub Manager - Vehicle Rentals
Hirepool was established in 1955 and over that time we've grown to become the national leader in the hire industry; including a commercial vehicle rental division which has been successfully operating throughout New Zealand for over 40 years.
The Vehicle Rentals team provide expert advice to business, commercial and recreational travellers on a wide variety of transport options including; cargo vans, passenger vans, small to medium trucks and a large fleet of 4x4 utes and tippers. Catering to both local short-term customers and larger long-term contracts, we meet the transport needs of everyone from big names in infrastructure, construction, film/TV and sporting events to independent contractors, casual weekend hirers.
But what does that mean for you and this role?
As Hub Manager for the Northern region (including Auckland and Hamilton) you'll be responsible for the operational excellence and financial performance of your cluster of branches and be a key driver in successful revenue generation, fleet management, customer retention, business growth and exceptional service delivery. You will also need a track record for successfully delivering operational objectives and a passion for encouraging your hard-working and dedicated teams to do the same.
Well-developed product knowledge within the vehicle rental or a related industry would be of great benefit but if you've worked in any of the industries we serve, we'd be keen to hear what specialist knowledge you could bring to this role. Our Vehicle Rentals division is growing and with this role is a real opportunity for you to contribute to the ongoing success of the Hirepool Vehicle Rental business both locally and throughout New Zealand.

We need you to have:
Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence (Class 2 licence an advantage)
An intermediate level of computer skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Extensive multi-site staff management experience including: leadership, business development, employee mentoring, and branch safety involvement
Hirepool operates a 7 day business, so some weekend work may be required.
