Adam Noah Levine (born March 18, 1979) is an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead vocalist of pop rock band Maroon 5.
Levine co-founded alternative rock band Kara's Flowers and was its lead vocalist and guitarist. After the commercial failure of their only album, The Fourth World, the band split up. Later, he reformed the band and a fifth member was added to form Maroon 5, which has had considerable mainstream success. Levine has received three Grammy Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and a World Music Award, all with Maroon 5
