In this study, oil plam empty fruit bruch (OPEFB) was converted to PHB using a
B. megaterium strain. PHB content and production reached 58.5% and 9.32 g/L, respectively, for OPEFB sugar 45 g/L. These reached 51.6% and 12.48 g/L for 60 g/L OPEFB derived sugars.
