Consumer markets are the markets for products and
services bought by individuals for their own or family
use.
Goods bought in consumers can be categorized in
several ways:
–Fast-moving consumer goods (“FMCG's”)-are
products that are sold quickly and at relatively low cost.
• Examples include non-durable goods such as soft drinks,
toiletries, over-the-counter drugs, toy.
–Consumer durables goods is a category of consumer
products that do not have to be purchased frequently
because they are made to last for an extended period of
time (typically more than three years).
