Hassan Sunny Army United The former Warriors FC goalkeeper who signed for Army United earlier in the year, is definitely making a name for himself in Thailand.
His last two matches were against Suphanburi FC twice, once in the league and another encounter in the FA Cup.
Army United won by 1-0 in the Thai Premier League match, whereas in the FA Cup, managed to beat Suphanburi by 2-0.
Speaking to Goal, Hassan admits that playing against a team like Suphanburi was not an easy task.
"Suphanburi were not easy to beat. We could barely score against them. We already know that they would be attacking us right from the start, and their attacks are known to be lethal. It was not an easy job obviously."
Admitting that there is a difference when it comes to playing in the league and in the cup, Hassan Sunny has expressed his hopes of helping Army United lift the FA Cup trophy.
"There's difference in the league and cup match, as the latter is decided in one single game. It's good to be progressive. I wish we can keep on winning and ultimately win the cup."
Hassan Sunny's talent and super saves even left a mark on Warawut Silpa-archa, Suphanburi's President, who then had a lot of good things to say about the 31-year-old.
"Oh my... Hands down to Hassan Sunny. He is the best goalkeeper I have ever encountered. Army United are very lucky to have such a goalkeeper with this potential. In this match (in the FA Cup and also the last (in the TPL) we should have scored one or two if it's not because of him. He is way too strong for us. Kudos to their scout team for discovering this one.
