The first sample consisted of 85 German pre-service teachers (70 women, 15 men) between the ages of 22 and 44 years (M = 27.15, SD = 3.51). Pre-service teachers have successfully completed the first phase of teacher training at the university and are now in the second, 16-month phase of practical training at school. They are supported by a mentor and teach, according to the phase of their training, quite independently. The aspirants’ average length of service as a teacher was
