Jason119:Hey, Mary. How’s my big sister?
Mary789: Ugh! Problems at work.
Jason119: Is your boss giving you too much work again?
Mary789:No, not enough, and that makes me nervous. The company is having money problems, and things are really slow now. You know me. I like to be busy, so this is hard for me.
Jason119:I’m really sorry to hear that. What does your boss think?
Mary789: He’s nervous, too, and he’s not usually a nervous person. Things are bad, and he thinks some people may lose their jobs.
Jason119:Well, I’m taking five classes this year. American history, English, and political science are easy, but biology and chemisty are hard. And I have exams in those two this week, so I’m not sleeping much, either.
Mary789:Because you’re studying all night?
Jason119:No, because I’m feeling nervous! I must get that from you! But I am studying a lot! You can be sure of that.
Mary789:Well, study hard and good luck! You need to do well in biology and chemisty if you want to get into medical school.
Jason119:You don’t have to tell me! I always study hard, but I still get nervous.
