Results
The weaknesses in the design and analytical methods of
the published studies noted above make it difficult to draw
strong conclusions from the finding of studies reported in
the literature. However the studies collectively indicate
trends which highlight some key issues that are of concern
for women with this condition. These are considered
below in the context of the physical, psychological and
sexual functioning following surgery for carcinoma of the
vulva.
