Attached, please find copy of an indvidual development plan (IDP) to assist you in achieving your personal and professional development goals.
When using an IDP, your superior develop a better understanding of your professional goals, strengths, and development needs. It enable staff to take personal responsibility and accountability on their career development, acquiring or enhancing their skills they need to stay current in their current roles or future roles.
The benefits of an IDP are:
- it provides an administrative mechanism for identifying and tracking development needs and plans.
- it assists in planning for the Company's training and development requirements
- it aligns staff training and development efforts with Company's mission, goals and objectives.
Please help us to fill lin the space in the IDP Form. A list of the competencies and skills is attached for your reference. Please feel free to add any essential competencies or skills that are omitted from the list. I will call you tomorrow morning to clarify doubt, if any.
