Hi sweetheart,
19C is actually a nice temperature for us. Very pleasant. But I understand it would feel cold to you. Two weeks ago, we had cold winter weather and the daytime high temperature was about 1C. Sometimes it's colder. Some days the high is only -4C. Then at night, the temperature drops and might only be -9C. So imagine it's so cold outside that if you took a cup of coffee and set it outside it would be a frozen brick of ice in an hour. Imagine if you could crawl into your freezer. That's what it's like outside.
We have heaters in our homes, but maybe you don't. You have air conditioners. We have both. We use heaters in the winter to warm the house, and AC in the summer to cool it. Most of the time it's not so hot here that we need AC. But in July and August we get 15-20 days per year where the temperature reaches 30C, and sometimes even 40C. I love warm weather, so I like it when it's 25C to 35C.
Good ambition that your daughter wants to study here. That would be a great experience for her.
I hope you have a good week! Take care, my darling.
XOXO
