She didn’t want to lash out at her friends and instead concealed that to herself at home.
“I understand… Thank you for explaining everything, Jeremy,” smiled Freddy.
“No problem. Tell (Y/n) I say ‘Hey’ if you get the chance. Night,” bid Jeremy as he hung up.
“Good night, Fitzgerald,” chuckled Freddy as he hung up as well. Looking back at (Y/n)’s door, Freddy sucked up his courage as he went back inside.
“I told you to leave me alone…” groaned (Y/n) as she sniffled back her tears and turned onto her side, facing away from him. Freddy ignored her warning as he walked up to her bed and sat down on her bed.
“Look… I’ll never be able to understand the pain you’re going through right now, but I want you to know that I’m not going to let you suffer alone anymore. I care about you a lot, and it pains me to see you loathing here in such a mess. No offense,” said Freddy as he reached up and rubbed (Y/n)’s side.
(Y/n) sighed as she turned over to face the brunette, who smiled down at her lovingly.
“I’m sorry about lashing out at you earlier…” apologized (Y/n). “I-I never meant-”
“Shh…” Freddy hushed (Y/n) as he caressed her cheek. “It’s alright. I know you didn’t mean it. I forgive you…”
(Y/n) smiled slightly as Freddy chuckled warmly. He patted her back as he got up and looked at the clock, making him frown.
“Looks like I’ll have to go now. Almost time for the pizzeria to open up,” mourned Freddy sighed. He leaned down and quickly kissed (Y/n)’s forehead, making her blush while he cleared his throat awkwardly.
“You should get rest now. I’ll be sure to check on you tomorrow when I have time,” assured Freddy as he smiled. (Y/n) mirrored his smile as he turned to leave.
“H-Hey Freddy…”
“Yes, (Y/n)?”
The girl blushed as she placed a hand on her cheek.
“Thanks for coming. It really made me feel better. Your company was way better than a painkiller…”
Freddy chuckled as he grabbed the doorknob to her bedroom door.
“I’m glad I was able to be your personal painkiller… Have a good night, dear.”
With that, Freddy closed the door and teleported back to the pizzeria.
“So did you find out what was wrong?” joked Mike as he passed by the Show Stage. Freddy nodded as he smiled slightly.
“Just lady problems we’ll never truly understand…”
