Creeping daisy (Wedelia trilobata (L.) Hitch.) is a tropical perennial herb native to Central America. This plant belongs to the sunflower family (Asteraceae) and nowadays broadly spread in the tropical areas. The common name of this species is given according to its characteristic which is a soil creeper producing yellow daisy-like flowers (Hossain and Hassan, 2005; Meena et al., 2011; Thakur et al., 2011).
