2.3. Identification of isolated strains
The selected Lactobacillus strains were identified by gram staining, analyzing cell morphology, measuring carbohydrate utilization using the API 50 CHL kit (BioMerieux, Lyon, France), and the 16S rRNA sequencing method by Macrogen Inc. (Seoul, Korea). Sequencing was performed using the Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) of the GENBANK data library (http://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov).
