After adjusting the pH, the solution was stirred at 60 rpmfor 24 h at
roomtemperature,which resulted in the formation of a precipitate. The
stirring time can affect morphology, size and crystallinity of final product.
Murugesan and his team [32] studied the effect of stirring time on
crystallinity and observed that stirring time of more than 48 h results
in decreased crystallinity.The precipitate was centrifuged at 6000 rpm
for 30 min, washed with DI water 3–4 times and air dried. The powder
so obtained was calcinated at 700 °C for 30 min. The powder was collected
and used for further characterization and coating.
