To identify the buildings and occupants’ responses to be
included in their evaluation, Frontczak et al. [1] made a selection
from the CBE database based on whether: the buildings’ purpose
was mainly for office-type activities; the buildings featured officelike
workstations of varied layouts; and, the survey had a response
rate higher than 5%. The resulting dataset contained 52,980 responses
of occupants working in offices, collected in 397 surveys
administered in 350 different buildings e mainly governmental,
offices occupied by private companies, universities and research
centers (to note that in 40 buildings the survey was conducted
more than once).
