To all 2014-2015 applicants.
We are aware that a number of users have experienced some problems submitting their application. The FCO and their Service Provider are urgently investigating any issues raised.
In the meantime we are advising applicants to use Internet Explorer (IE7) as the preferred browser where possible. If this is not available then use one of the other major browsers such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome:
Until issues are fully resolved, we advise taking the following steps while completing your applications
1: Put all the application information in to a Word document (or an equivalent application).
2: Copy and paste information into the eChevening application.
3: Save the application at each available opportunity.
Should an issue occur with the application please use the 'Contact Us' section of the chevening website (www.chevening.org) with the details. If possible, please provide the following information:
- Location – (Geographical – Region, Country);
- Browser – Internet browser being used and version;
- Operating System – i.e. Windows 7, Windows Vista;
- The application form section where the problem occurred;
- Details of any error message that’s been displayed;
- Any further information that may be of use.
