Penne. Cheese. Bacon. The perfect quick meal for a cold day.
RECIPE:
2 cups whole milk
2 cups water
2 cups penne pasta
salt
black pepper
nutmeg
1 cup grated cheese
bacon cubes
In a small saucepan add the milk, water and the penne. Stir for approximately 10 minutes over medium heat until the pasta is cooked and the sauce gets thicker. Turn off the heat, season with salt, black pepper, nutmeg and add the cheese. Mix well until cheese melts. Serve with crispy bacon cubes.
