The employee is entitled to take sick leave as much as his/ her actual sickness and receiving the same payment as on working days. Sick leave shall not exceed 30 working days in one year.
False sick leave is deemed not only as falsely reporting to supervisor but also as a serious offense to the Company. In this regard, the Company shall consider penalties according to the Company’s regulations.
Sick leave of over 3 working days including you are ill during your annual leave or next to Sat & Sun & Public Holidays, the company require a first-class medical certificate. The medical certificate shall be submitted together with the leave form. In case employee is unable to show the medical certificate, the employee shall take annual leave or leave without pay.
Sick leave or number of sick leave shall be taken into consideration for salary / annual remuneration. Moreover, too many sick leave will be effected annual appraisal because it will be considered as lack of self-management.
