Investigation into downing of MH17 continues, but Russian ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin said “a real international investigation did not take place."
The Dutch Safety Board in its investigation of the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 has found unidentified fragments in the bodies of the pilots, according to Russian news outlet RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
“Some fragments are found in the bodies of flight crew, pilots. We have to investigate them to see if they are fragments of the plane. If they are not, it might be fragments of the objects, coming from outside. We’re not sure yet what these pieces are fragments of,” said the Safety Board spokeswoman Sara Vernooij.
