The results presented in Table 5 show that the lowest concentration
of soybean molasses resulted in the highest yield of ethanol.
Thus, the concentration of 250 g/L was chosen for the determination
of the kinetic profiles and the time of fermentation.
Having determined the optimal time and temperature conditions
for hydrolysis, the fermentation of soybean molasses
hydrolysates at 55 ◦C for 10 h with 0.05% enzyme with respect to the
weight of the substrate was performed under the same fermentation
condition with occasional removal of samples. The oligomers,
cell counts and ethanol are shown in Fig. 3.
