4. Conclusions
We have fabricated a unique type of NHSK paper using vacuum filtration. The polymer single crystals on the NHSK paper surface control the film roughness, and the corresponding water condensation behavior. We show that incorporating polymer single crystals onto SWCNT sidewalls is an effective means to tune wetting behavior. In situ nanocondensation study using ESEM and the detailed analysis of wetting behaviors revealed how water condensation was affected. The cCAs of said microdroplets followed the general trends of macroscopic droplets, but were significantly lower in all cases owing to subsurface origination. Notably, the effect of incorporating polymer single crystals onto CNTs was found to be highly effective in preventing water condensation.
