In order to investigate the templating effect of GO, aluminum precursor was reacted without GO using the same procedure as that for Al-GO-Air HT, to produce Al-Air HT. For the purpose of comparison, other two samples, GO-N2 HT and Al-GON2 HT, were also prepared by heat-treatment of GO and Al-GO, respectively, at 650 C under a stream of N2.
