The robust control of space truss structures is an essential to include the nonlinear nature of joints between truss's elements,
unmodeled dynamics and effective vibration damping. In this paper we have presented the robust μ-controller modelling and
effective implementation to the uncertain 3D truss dynamics model with external disturbance excitations. Desired robust
stability is achieved despite of the uncertainties of the piezo-actuator and space truss dynamics. Simulation results shown that
the closed-loop system responses of the truss augmented model with taken into account uncertainty models and weighting
functions ensure robustness and stability margin. The simulation results are confirmed by the experimental tests. Proposed
robust μ-controller ensures a good dynamics of the truss closed-loop system, robustness, and vibration attenuation.
