Significant reductions (p b 0.05) were observed in L. monocytogenes populations, with higher reductions in apple (1.6 log at 3.75 kJ/m2) and pear (1.7 log at 11.9 kJ/m2) surfaces compared to cantaloupe and strawberry surfaces (1.0 log at 11.87 kJ/m2) (Fig. 2, Table 2).
