Bacterial Identification
Phenotypical characteristics, Gram strain, oxidase production, oxidative/ fermentative utilization of glucose (OF medium), motility and growth on MacConky agar were determined for every selected isolate. Only Gram negative were found and they were further characterized by biochemical typing using API 20E kit (Biomérieux). Tests were performed according to the instructions of the manufacturer, incubated at 30o C for 24 h. Bacterial identification was performed by using the APILAB Plus identification software (Biomérieux).
