The Web Quest Strategy encourages self-directed learning, takes into account the individual
differences between the students, and creates more effective learning environment than the traditional
method. Additionally, it leaves a space for thinking, searching, and inquiring, which made the learner the
center of the learning process instead of the teacher as it is in the traditional method. Therefore, this made
the differences in acquiring the geographic concepts between the members of the experimental and
control groups. This result is compatible with the results of the studies by Michelle and Eula (2005),
Jadallah (2006) Al-Hila and Nofal (2008), and Joma` and Ahmad (2012)
