Preparation of polyclonal antibodies and MAbs. D. dadantiistrain FY1710 was cultured in LB liquid medium for 12 h, then pelletedthrough 3 min of centrifugation at 13,500 × g. The pellet wasresuspended in a physiological saline solution containing 0.5% formaldehyde,incubated at 4°C for 24 h, then rinsed three times in a sterilephysiological saline solution. The inactivated bacterial cells wereused to immunize two New Zealand rabbits for polyclonal antibody(PAb) production, as previously described (Liu et al. 2016), or five 8-week-old BALB/c mice through intraperitoneal injection for MAbproduction, as described previously (Chen et al. 2017).
