ROLE PURPOSE
The purpose of Station supervisor ,agronomy & operation is to manage the crop management & maintenance activity in farm station to serve NSPP -technical support team to Deliver the data as scientific base and ensure the quality & quantity of seeds
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Crop Management all crops in station
- Land preparation ,irrigation ,fertilization ,weed control ,pest management to make the crop as healthy as normal condition and align purpose from breeding team & technical support team
• Maintenance
- Repair some damage of building to keep the good condition for office & working area . Repair some damage of equipment to ready for using ,car tractor maintenance , electricity system and set up the schedule to maintenance of farm equipment & fire extinguisher , land scape of office surrounding area to make clean and attractive & align HSES standard , manage the waste disposal from farm activity and cold storage room monitoring with electric system to awareness the shutdown with impact to germination of germplasm .
- Hazard recovery
- For corn –DH , accountable for land preparation, Top cross ,baby nursery ,Hill plot
- For veg – accountable for pruning ,request to buy (internal )
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Critical Knowledge:
• Agriculture knowledge as Bsc as related field of Agronomy ,soil science etc
• At least 4 years to manage crops
Critical Skills:
• Good organization, communication and computer skills, interpersonal skills, especially those required to successfully function as part of a cross-functional team. Ability to understand and communicate complex instructions.
• Team work spirit
• Service mind and understand the crop cycle & research purpose
• Basic knowledge of farm mechanization / mechanical / electricity
