Communication
Communication is concerned with the
transfer of information. Because of the
possibility of misconception arising from cognitive and/or learning rules not being
optimal, the method of communication
becomes an important part of an individual's
work skills. Because language is limited in
its scope to explain, other methods of
communication are used, the use of which is
not formalised and hence subject to a
consistent and optimal rule. However, the
method of communication, because it is
evolutionary, does not admit an optimal rule since there was no identifiable beginning and
there is no end to the ways in which
communication will develop: communication is a rule or habit. Thus, communicating new ideas has preferably to be within the existing framework of the transfer of information. It
is one thing to introduce new working
practices, but it is more difficult to introduce new communication systems as well.
