India lives in its villages; about 75% people are living in rural
areas and are still dependent on agriculture as their main
occupation. About 43% of India’s geographical area is used
for agricultural activity. In India agriculture sector is changing
the socio-economic environments of the population due to
liberalization and globalization in communication. Agriculture
continues to play a major role in Indian Economy. The
agriculture and the rural communities are deprived in
communication which leads to the poor development rural
society. The lack of awareness, education and knowledge
occurs owing to its poor communication. The scientific and
can improve between and among rural communities and
agricultural organizations and with the intermediary agencies
that serve those communities and organizations with advice,
scheme support, research, expansion, and education. The basis
of this strategy is competence building for rural farmers to
catalyze and enhance locally managed Internet use, tools and
resources.
