The students get the experiential learning only during the laboratory classes. However, the communication laboratory experiment are more likely to deal with simple trainer board which rarely provides an good opportunity for the students to perform the communication processes as done in the real applications. Besides all the important and necessary performance analysis parameters which are used in real life wireless communication system such as BER, Eye diagram, constellation diagram, Error Vector Magnitude (EVM). Phase error, Modulation error ratio, IQ gain imbalance cannot be observed with such telecom trainer board. These not only affect to their overall learning but also the abstract nature of the material taught in communications courses often deters their learning motivation.
