We outlined the conditions that govern the performance of
different information retrieval models. Also, we analyzed
these models based upon their properties. We conclude that
search engines should use some such hybrid model in which
they can incorporate the properties of all the three models so
that the search engine is able to
identify the user intent and is
able to decide upon the matche
s to proceed for, because it is
indeed essential for the search engines to identify the intent of
information retrieval of the user, or, in other words, the reason
for or the use of the information that is being searched for.
