In Infospark today, Mike McMullen has described more on direction in FY15. The Agilent’s FY15 Measures of Success has been come out. I’ve put in on the board at Pantry area.
Three main areas are as below which I has translated to close to CSO perspective. K. Yuwapha will communicate to you in detail on FY15 Business plan for Thailand.
• Differentiate The Customer Experience – This starts from basic in ensuring customer is satisfy with us (ACS score for both CC & SS). Brand promise ( principle with RKP and new Agilent Brand concept). Robust Strategic / Major Account Program with one Agilent approach ( one focus area is account management skills). Drive escalation process as one of CSO culture.
• Drive value creation – Mike has turned this to financial on revenue growth and profitability. For CSO, we’re expected to get higher margin (more revenue with less cost). Please start to think how each of us can contribute to this financial health. Starts from basic again, everyone doing high standard work quality both internal and external. Every job we do, need a mindset of DO IT BEST, NOT JUST TO COMPLETE IT. We need to complete the work with good quality of work and seek an area to make customer delight ( customer doesn’t think that we’ll do for them). Next is drive revenue, help to sell (instrument, services, consumables) via CE lead program, complete document on CSO report and send back to CCC timely for invoice. Last but not least is carefully in spending and reduce waste which impact to unnecessary cost e.g. re-visit job, repair after PM/OQ, reduce part dispatching by DHL. Please keep in mind that most reason from these are come from un-prepared prior to the work.
• Launch One Agilent – I’ve notified everyone in another email on this. “Collaboration, One company mindset and External Focus”. Just request you to read that message again in deep understanding on what does it mean on collaboration, one company mindset and external focus.
Each of us need to understand how our role will contribute to Agilent success in FY15. As we’re in the beginning of FY15, start with your MBO preparation and excuet it.
