I can transfer the balance to this new account but you'll need to log into the other account and deactivate it first.
There are a few steps you must complete in order to close your account with us.
The first being, destroying droplets that are active and/or powered off. You can find your current list here: https://cloud.digitalocean.com/droplets
To deactivate your account once droplets are destroyed, please go to: https://cloud.digitalocean.com/settings/profile, click "Deactivate Account".
If you wish to scrub your personal data (e.g: e-mail address, payment profile(s)) click yes within the box, and click "Deactivate Now".
