I'm board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. I have served as a general internist at the Army hospital in Nurnberg, Germany. After my cardiology fellowship,I served as a staff cardiologist from 1990 to 1993 and then completed a year of training in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston.I was a Deputy Commander for Clinical Services at Madigan Army Medical Center.
After serving for two years in the Office of The Surgeon General for the US Army as the Director of Health Policy and Services,I became a Commander of the Walter Reed Healthcare System. And presently serving my last mission with the US Army on the ISIS Air collision mission here in Syria as the Chief of Cardiology on War or National Emergency leave. Anything good is possible with a little ambition and an optimistic mind.
