Generation of high quality SFL in continuous mode
High quality and sufficient VFA-containing fermented liquid is
the precondition for large-scale biological production of PHA using
SFL as raw material. According to reaction balance theory, during
the sludge fermentation process, the transfer from sludge organics
to VFA would be restrained by the produced VFA. A ceramic membrane
system (CMS) and continuous mode reactor was established
to improve the proportion of VFA and to remove turbidity in the
SFL.
