Isolation of B. subtilis, Staphylococcus
spp. and Lactobacillus spp. from the control and the
bouillon cubes in this study agreed with reports of previous
studies (Odunfa, 1985; N'dir et al., 1997) B. subtilis is
considered to be an initiator of fermentation of various seeds
including melon, sesame and locust bean seeds
