1) Kalashtami, also known as Kala Ashtami / Bhairava Ashtami is observed every month during Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha.
2) Monthly Kalashtami dates include – 18th July, 17th August, 15th September, 15th October, 14th November, 14th December 2014.
3) Kalashtami is observed by the devotees of Lord Bhairava who is believed to be the destructive form of Lord Shiva.
4) People keep fast with much devotion whole day and special puja is performed to remove all sins and gain powers to fight with negative energies.
5) Kalashtami is celebrated to get victory and succeed over rivals.
6) It is a belief that Kalashtami Puja can help you to lead a healthy and disease free life.
7) Kalashtami Puja can also protect you from ghosts and evil spirits if you worship Lord Bhairava with full dedication and devotion and read Kaalbhairava Stotra / Kaalbhairava Mantra.
