coating onAZ91magnesiumalloywas firstly proposed.AZ91Mgalloywas first dipcoatedbyGO,which
wasfurtherusedasmatrixsubstrateforbiomimeticmineralizationofhydroxyapatite(HA)inmodified
simulated body fluid (m-SBF).IthasbeenfoundthatGOgreatlypromotesnucleationandcrystallization
for rapidHAgrowth,forminguniformanddenseHA/GOhybridcoatingcomprisedby flake-like HA
crystals withhighCa/Pratio(1.65).Meanwhile,theas-formedHA/GObio-coatingcoulddramatically
improvethecorrosionresistanceofMgalloys.ThecorrosioncurrentdensityoftreatedMgalloyswas
decreased byoneorderofmagnitudeascomparedtountreatedone.Furthermoretheeffectsofvarious
experimentalparameterstowardthegrowthoftheHA/GOcoatingonMgalloyswerealsoinvestigated
