As modern art House II represents 20th century modernist architecture as a collectable and historically significant art form.
Built in 1969 for a Princeton Professor by renowned architect Peter Eisenman one of the famous “New York Five” architects know for a pure form of architectural modernism. House II is one of ten modern home designs of which only four were constructed. The analytical design concepts and theory represented by House II continues to be studied by architectural students and the international architectural community.
This recognition of House II is referenced to in numerous national and international articles which can be found on the internet and in architectural and art publications. Many in the architectural community have identified House II as a significant “Icon”.
In 2003 the owners of House II received the prestigious Preservation Award from the Preservation Trust of Vermont for the restoration of this unique modern home.

This majestic house overlooks a large pond which attracts wildlife from the surrounding 110 organic acres along with migratory birds. There are acres of meadows for horses to graze and wildlife to nest.
