However, some weakevidence suggested that cultivars of the same horticultural typehad a tendency to be clustered together. For example, the clade A2was highly populated with cultivars of the plum petal type, morethan half (25/43) of these cultivars appeared in this clade and morethan half (25/39) of clade A2 cultivars were of the plum petal type(Fig. 1). Similarly, for cultivars of the butterfly petal type, 13 out of18 appeared in Clade A1 (Fig. 1).
