They may ask you to pay to have the baggage checked in. If this occurs after check-in has closed your bag may not be loaded onto your flight and may instead have to travel on the following flight.
For baggage up to 15 kilos you will need to pay an upgrade fee and for every kilo thereafter an excess baggage fee will apply. These costs are outlined on our website on our Checked Baggage page.
However, I can confirm that you and Chanikan were able to add and paid for your extra baggage on your flight. Though, I’m sorry to hear about your experience on the day of your flight and you and Chanikan had to un-board your flight going to
As a gesture of goodwill, I have requested a refund of THB 2,800 to be refunded back to your credit card as your payment for the airport baggage upgrade. Please allow up to 15 business days for the refund to be processed.
