Watched some news in Thai last night ... lots of flooding pictures, and someone mentioned Nakhon si Thammarat. Glad your place isn't flooded.
Getting lots of cold rainy weather in Redding ... and I'm kind of looking forward to that. I can curl up in front of the fireplace ... and maybe Kassey will come over to keep me company.
My hotel in Phnom Penh has a big fake fireplace with red lights imitating flames. The last thing I would want here is to sit in front of a fire ... maybe I can talk them into installing a fake iceberg, instead.
Had an interesting moment last night. I was walking back to my hotel and looked down to find a $100 bill in the street. There was nobody around, so I just scooped it up and put it in my pocket. Later, I took it out to examine ... and it looked just a bit off. I finally determined it was counterfeit (although probably good enough to pass). In any case, I tore it up and tossed it in the trash.
I've always told people I'm not totally above the idea of crime ... but, it's going to be a heck of a lot more than $100 to tempt me. .... might think about it for a couple of million ... then again ... I would probably say no to that as well.
Guess the things that are important to me these days aren't things money can buy.
Till we meet again,
