Engaging school administrative staff and teachers from the beginning in the design and implementation was essential for buy-in. Flexibility and creativity in delivery of the 5-2-1-0 content and coaching sessions promoted school teacher engagement. Likewise, involving nursing faculty in the planning was important so that nursing curricula can build the program into the practicum rotations. Last, the involvement of the PHN in this project was facilitating given the relationship the PHN had with the school staff.
